TripFlow's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Microsoft

Yahoo y otras cuentas IMAP

Privacy policy

6 November 2026. The Spanish version is above on this page.

This policy explains what TripFlow does with data. TripFlow is an iPhone app that organizes travel reservations. It also covers this website.

Who is responsible

TripFlow is published by an independent developer. This page does not name a company. Before these URLs are submitted for verification, the legal name of the controller should match the name on the consent screen.

Contact: discoelectric@gmail.com.

TripFlow does not operate a server of its own that receives the contents of your mail or your reservations. The iPhone talks directly to the provider you connect. Reservations, documents, and the result of the analysis stay on the device.

This website

The site introduces TripFlow and publishes this policy and the terms of service. It has no accounts, forms, first-party cookies, or analytics.

If you write to discoelectric@gmail.com, the developer receives the message and uses it to reply.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and other technical connection data in order to serve and protect the page.

The app

TripFlow organizes flights, bookings, tickets, and documents on iPhone. It can use mail you connect, files, text, or content you share into the app. Detection and analysis run on the iPhone. You can review and edit what it stores.

A TripFlow account is not required.

Mail you connect

Connecting mail is optional. You can disconnect an account inside TripFlow. Doing so deletes that account’s credentials from the device.

Gmail

If you connect Gmail, TripFlow requests read-only access through Google OAuth. The scopes are openid, email, and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. It also requests a refresh token so you are not asked to grant access on every visit.

That permission can read mail. TripFlow uses it to search recent messages in the inbox, excluding drafts, spam, and trash, and to extract reservations. It does not send, modify, or delete messages.

The token is stored in the iOS Keychain. The material needed to show and correct a reservation stays on the iPhone. It is not sent to the developer, not sold, and not used for advertising.

You can revoke access in TripFlow and in your Google Account permissions: myaccount.google.com/permissions.

TripFlow's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Gmail data is used only to provide the user-facing feature of organizing travel reservations on the iPhone. People who develop TripFlow do not read your mail. The only exception is material you choose to attach to a support email. Adding a reservation to the calendar is a separate action you start yourself, and it writes that reservation, not your mailbox.

Microsoft

If you connect Outlook or Microsoft 365, TripFlow uses Microsoft OAuth with the scopes openid, email, offline_access, User.Read, and Mail.Read.

User.Read identifies the connected account. Mail.Read allows the app to read mail. offline_access renews access without a sign-in every time. TripFlow uses that access to read inbox messages and extract reservations on the iPhone. It does not send, modify, or delete messages.

The token is stored in the iOS Keychain. You can revoke access in TripFlow and in your Microsoft account’s app permissions. On a work or school account, your organization may manage that access as well.

Yahoo and other IMAP accounts

Yahoo is not connected through Yahoo’s OAuth API. TripFlow uses IMAP over TLS: server imap.mail.yahoo.com, port 993, inbox. Yahoo asks for an app password, not the account’s main password. That password is stored in the iOS Keychain.

Other IMAP accounts work the same way: the app connects to the server you enter and downloads messages so they can be analyzed on the iPhone.

You can remove the account in TripFlow. On Yahoo you can also revoke the app password from account security: login.yahoo.com/account/security.

What the data is used for

What it does not do

TripFlow does not sell data, show advertising, or use mail to build ad profiles. It does not send reservation contents to a remote analysis service. There is no usage analytics in the app or on this website.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on the iPhone until you delete it, disconnect the account, or uninstall the app. Inside TripFlow you can delete trips, reservations, files, or all of that data. An iPhone backup, if you have one turned on, may include the app’s data. Apple manages that backup with your account. TripFlow does not.

Other services

When you connect Gmail, Microsoft, Yahoo, or another IMAP account, the iPhone talks to that provider and their terms also apply. Apple is involved in distributing the app, in purchases, and, if you turn it on, in the device backup. Cloudflare is involved in serving this website. TripFlow does not give them a separate copy of your reservations.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of data the developer actually holds, mainly mail you send to support. Reservations are on your phone and you can delete them there. Write to discoelectric@gmail.com.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or somewhere else with equivalent rights, this policy does not reduce those rights.

Children

TripFlow is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page and the date above will be updated.
